Over the year they'd slept together, he'd picked up way too much unspoken information about Rodney's insecurities and vulnerabilities, and he knew he wasn't a nice enough guy to not use that kind of ammunition when pushed too far.

I thought it was really interesting that they were bickering in an unfriendly way and that John realized they'd hit a point where they could really hurt each other if pushed too far.

He felt cornered. Overrun. Like every secret he had to his name was about to be dragged out into the light and examined, labeled, before being put back in place.

"You want this."

Very cool that Rodney was able to take charge and take John where he needed to go.

He felt drained, colorless, somehow, but in his head was a quiet, a stillness in him that hadn't been there for a long time.

He felt like a coil that had been degaussed.

I liked that the (really hot) sex actually made John feel changed. Nice way to describe it, too. :)
