Just goes to show you exactly how crazy stressed I am, even though I'm pretending not to be) I found  this source for tons of places to find freelance writing jobs. Speaking of which - did I miss the post where you put the draft of your speech? If you didn't post, can I get it in email? pretty please?

That's a great way to look at it. I have found that, since I made the decision to do this, I "feel" like I have more time. I don't actually have any more, but I think feeling motivated makes the whole time management feel less burdensome.

My problem is going to be concentrating and combining inspiration with dedication. I tend to write off the cuff, and that's just not going to work for this. Sabs has been telling me for years now to practice the whole process, not JUST the creation. Ironic how I edit other people's stuff and totally suck at editing my own! LOL! but you're right, I can definitely find time for this. I just hope I can keep my confidence up.

Good luck with your writing. I hope it's successful for you.

But seriously....a second job?!?!? DON'T do that, please! That, to me, just sounds like a sure fire way to become even more stressed and exhausted!

*hugs*

Yeah, really. I have no idea what I was thinking when I considered (for about 15 minutes) getting a second physical job. Taking on the writing will be a second job, in a way. But I can do it at my own pace (mostly) and I can do it without traveling or any major output of physical energy. I'm sure the emotional and mental energy will tax me a bit, but no need to go overboard. I was really panicking about the money situation, but i have that under control now. The panic I mean. :)
