In praise of... the wireless (medium)

I've just discovered the WRN Broadcast radio station. It should act as a good counterweight to the BBC World Service, which I've been listening to a lot more often than Radio 4 the past few months. I really ought to get back to listening to the radio more. The app I use (Android) is TuneIn, which seems to do the job, though if you're not careful with the settings it can be a bit battery-hungry, This weekend will be a mixture of cricket and Radio Le Mans for me, but I suppose that's a bit of a specialist one!

Tunein is battery-hungry, which is why I prefer listening to radio and podcasts on the iPad, because it runs the battery down a lot slower than the iPhone.

Radio Le Mans, nice one! The cricket turned out to be very interesting, at the end especially. I absolutely love listening to TMS, especially as background filler.

I must admit, I found myself wishing it had been India rather than Sri Lanka. No DRS then, so England would have won! =:P
