It never gets easier.
Tomorrow, one of my cats is going to die. He hasn't eaten on his own in five days, hasn't gone to the bathroom in just as long. He's been in the early stages of kidney failure since early this year... he's no longer in those early stages, and tomorrow he goes to the vet one last time.
But it's not just 'one of the cats', in a way, for this LJ...
