Blood+, Terminator TV, Fuurin Kazan, Monster

I've started watching Blood+ and all I can say for it in the opening disc test (the 4-5 episodes you suffer through to let the story try to establish itself and pull you in) is that while I'm interested and do want to see more I do not want to see any more of the official US released version.  The subtitles just seemed.... off the entire time.  ( Read more... )

Once you get past that slow arc that starts at 27 on, it speeds up exponentially. It fills in some holes on where he came from, and where one of his minions came from as well. It tried my patience too, but in the end i was all. *FLAILDAMMIT* Because i knew it still had another 20 or so eps to go. That slow arc, starts to tie in everything else that have been so far 'separate' elements of the story. Then it started picking up and i had to keep going back to reabsorb what i got before.

It's worth the wait, believe me. And the final episode is mindfuck beyond all mindfucks. But its part of what makes it so damned good.
