Mike and Aurora boarded a cruise ship docked at San Miguel en route to Galveston. Instead of flying to Cozumel, they had splurged with a luxurious roundtrip cruise.
The main deck had all the activity one could find at a water park. Swimmers in lifejackets were splashing around the pool while a renegade life preserver floated in one corner of the pool. Stacks of fluffy beach towels were folded in carts and placed alongside the pool for convenience. From the comfortable lounge chairs, one could sip cocktails and stare out into the blue waters, drinking in the sun and relaxing.
