Reading sparks creativity

So, I should really be using this precious time to be writing. Instead, I've spent the morning doting upon my kitties and reading a fanfic. The sgabigbang fics have been posted, and courtesy of calcitrix ('cause of her awesome drawing ability), I went to the site and looked through the fics. Lots of Sheppard/McKay, one Weir/Sheppard (which I couldn't bring myself ( Read more... )

Very cool meme! Thank you for sharing! :)

Seems like you've got a good head start on Nano according to your sidebar word count.

I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend!
Say hi to the kitties for me.

Glad you enjoyed. It was fun to do, although I shouldn't have. Oh well.

I had a good writing day so far. I hope I get to write some more tonight.

It's been nice so far. I hope you are enjoying your w/end as well.

They purred a HI back. :)

Hee! I've been reading SGABB stories pretty much straight through since it went up...to the point that I forgot to check email, LJ flist, and facebook. Through A Cracked Glass is on my list, but I haven't gotten to it yet. I've read most of the gen and non-McShep stories (I like McShep, but sometimes it's like that super-popular song that gets played on the radio too often).

Looks like your NaNo is going well! \o/ *cheers you*

Oh, you can get so involved in them. Through A Cracked Glass was enjoyable but I love Peter, which is why season 1 is my favorite, although, Lorne was a very nice addition to the following seasons. :D I couldn't believe all the McShep stories but like you said, they are so popular.

Thank you. I wrote almost 3K yesterday and need to get some done. Baking first. ;)

Peter? A lot of Peter? Now I must read this story. Thanks for the link. I know your feelings on Liz/John. I haven't read any since SatE. I loved how you gave them a happy ending so in my mind, that's how it should have ended. Fun book meme. I love the last lines in the first 2 books. I've only read the first 2 Tempe books and I never remember hearing Tempe's middle name so...no clue :)

Yes. Lots of Peter. Not Peter-centric but it's not John or Rodney centric either. You must read. You'll love it.

Awww. Thank you. I'm biased but it's how I like to think it ended.

Hehehe. It was fun but I don't know how anybody ever guesses any of them. It would be too difficult. Especially the one line that is just simply "no." LOL
