My Host Family and other things!

I told myself I would make an entry about this because it was certainly an interesting experience so I feel I should document it.  Plus my school wants me to so here it is.  But first as my journal states, some random thoughts!

I keep feeling like I see people I recognize even though I know it is impossible.  It's weird I'll think I see someone ( Read more... )

So it would seem you are functioning linguistically at the level of a four year-old...I bet you'll be up to five or six by next week :) lol

It's also nice to see other people are actually commenting now. Speaking of other people, Dale asked me for an update on you...I assume he was asking for Robin, are you not talking to her? Does she not know about the existence of this blog? I refuse to let the grapevine grow international, get that girl in the loop! lol

I hope next entry is about your actual school experiences...I expect Kare Kano-esque antics to be recorded so don't disappoint.

p.s. There is actually a lj-cut button up on that toolbar....that's what I use since you have to be in html mode to do it manually and that's just confusing for me. Hope that helps.

I am talking to Robin so I don't know why he is asking. She doesn't know about this blog though, or about LiveJournal in general I don't think. I suppose I could link her to this as long as she doesn't explore my communities lol.

My speech is getting a little better, we can hold actual conversations now, crappy though they may be. I shall update soon but its super hard to find a) time to be on the internet and b) a connection that actually works.

And my classes while interesting to me will not be anywhere as cool as kare kano. I'm in college not high-school so it is decidedly more mundane.

Thanks of the lj-cut tip I will try it next time. It was totally bothering me that mine wouldn't work.
