New icon is totally the fault of penwiper337 . Just thought I should point that out.

Also, an addendum to my previous post regarding The Mystery of River Song, after having seen The Impossible Astronaut.
Possibly slightly less cracked out speculation, addendums to previous seriously cracked out explanations. Mildly spoilerish for Impossibly Astronaut. )

If I throw enough darts, one of 'em is gonna hit a target.

Eventually one of my theories will be dead on. And I'll be all "YES! I TOLD YOU RIVER WAS ACTUALLY THE TARDIS! I KNEW IT! Other theories? I have no idea what you're talking about." and all my friends will be like "WOW YOU ARE SUCH A GENIUS!" or more likely "ZOMG YOU SPOILED ME I HATE YOU FOREVER!"

Icon may be the best thing ever.

Also, my brain is inclined to agree with your speculation even though I've been sternly telling it not to speculate.

I am quite fond of my new icon. I need to go spam all the boards so I can show it off. Would you mind if I macro'd it on ihasatardis? You'd get credit for it, of course.

I put that under a cut to protect you from it! Look, when one of my theories is correct and you're upset because I accidentally spoiled you, I'm gonna point to the other two dozen that weren't true. Except we both know that all of my theories are true because I'm an evil genius like that.

Please feel free to macro!

Well, since my brain won't stop trying to spoil me in the form of very weird dreams (last night it turned out that Moffat was so sneaky that he snuck clues to this season of Who into a production of Romeo and Juliet that was done about 10 years ago and starred Alex Kingston and Matt Smith) I figured I could risk clicking just one cut. It's totally self-inflicted.

So, at the Brooklyn premiere, Michio Kaku told the old time travel paradox story of a baby dropped off at an orphange by a lonesome rambler. Grows up, meets a lonesome rambler, gets pregnant, has the baby, lonesome rambler steals the baby. Takes it an drops it off at an orphanage. Back to the girl. She's hemorrhaging and the doctors perform life saving surgery which turns her into a dude (oooookaaaayy). She wanders around for a while before meeting and falling in love with a young girl. Girl gets pregnant, dude, feeling bad about his own lost baby, steals the baby and drops it off at an orphanage. This girl is her own entire family tree.

Long rambling point is, you could totally be on to something about River being Amy and Rory's baby, and her own grandmother, lol.

This left me pondering which would be more surgically feasible, with resulting functional reproductive organs, dude to chick or chick to dude.

Yeah, regeneration makes it all easier. And we have proof from Curse of the Fatal Death, which Moffat wrote, that Time Lords can regenerate into Time Ladies. Throw in a TARDIS or vortex manipulator and you've got some serious inbreeding potential.
