To text thank you here, you write 3q, that is the number which is pronounced san in Mandarin and the letter Q. So San-Q or thank you. To say your welcome you say noQ, from the literal translation of 不謝, you're welcome (literally no thanks). End result: something that works in neither language. I love when things like this happen. Yesterday I went out to a party for one of my coworkers who is leaving, met a cute Englishman, then found out he was married. Just my luck. But on the other hand, his wife is awesome, and invited me to play tennis so it was still a good evening. It was a very good party. Today, I recovered.

Caterpillar
I got stung by an evil (and very fuzzy) caterpillar today. Felt like a bea sting looked like a nettle sting (multiple welts). I fell on me when I was walking through a wooded section at the zoo today and scared me half to death. Because I'm new here, and I'm not used to the animals, I spent a good few minutes wondering exactly how poisonous ( Read more... ) -
