Who: Klaus Wulfenbach, Theta Buckley, Albedo Piazzolla
What: Working on Klaus's clank -- no really -- and then a fight!
When: This afternoon.
Where: Klaus's house, 729 Anderson
Warnings: These three in one place together. Awkward misconceptions. Also terrible, gorey murder later on.
"Careful where you put that thing!"
Klaus grumbled and moved the wrench he'd just put down. God forbid it get anywhere near Theta's clothes, covered in grease as it was. "If you would just stay still it wouldn't be a problem!"
"I'm not exactly going to stay still for this, now am I?" she said, leaning around him from her perch on a commandeered table in order to get a better look at the portion of the clank they were working on (or rather, that she was working on despite him being in the way).
"It would be over much quicker if you did, you realize." She could work on her part, he could work on his, and through the power of ~*teamwork*~ they would get this done. Unfortunately, she seemed to be of the opinion that more than one Sparklike person in a room was too many. He was starting to agree.
She heaved a very frustrated sigh. "Why don't you just go back into the house and leave me alone?"
Klaus's temper flared. Who was she to tell him what to do in his own house, while working on his own clank, with his own tools?
"I have already started, and I intend to--" The wrench he'd put on the table clattered to the floor, pushed by her foot as she shifted. "Now look what you've done! If you would just spread your legs a little --" It was hard enough to work sandwiched between the clank and the table, but she also kept kneeing him in the back.
"Now see here! You can't do this..."
"It is my house and I have every right!" Oh great. A headache was looming on the horizon; not only was all of this SCIENCE! aggravating his lack of Spark, but she was starting to get really insufferable.
"When you asked me over here to help you with something, I didn't think you meant to do this..." she pouted.
"When I asked you over here," Klaus snapped in reply, "I didn't realize you were going to be so uncooperative and --" He paused as he noticed something. The phone on the wall of the garage was hanging off of its cord. "Did you knock the phone off the hook?" It would have been just like Theta, putting the whole play into disarray just to spite him.
"Maybe I did! You can hardly blame me given what you're doing to me!"
Klaus squeezed out from between the clank and the table, picking the phone up and returning it to its proper place. "Well let's just hold on a second here. I am not doing anything besides working on my clank, which I asked you to help with, not effectively steal!"
