"Come on, kids, let's not keep our fine Mayor waiting!"

There had been a lot of hold-ups and delays, but the group had finally gotten together and made their way down to City Hall. Stein took his class in through the large double doors, explaining to the secretary and security who all was with him, and why they were there.

Liechtenstein hadn't been certain what exactly she'd find out during the 'field trip', but it was worth a shot just to go see if there was anything she could do to help.

She only half-listened to Stein's explanation and introductions, paying more attention to the building itself. It was rather... nice. That was about the best word she could think of to describe it--nice, but not good.

Sealand looked up at the building, trying to see all the various people inside. There wasn't much to watch, though, and Sealand had better buildings anyways. So he decided to run up to one of the few people he knew from before Mayfield, Lichtenstein.

"Hey, Lichtenstein! Is your scary brother here too?"

Hearing her name gave her a start--she hadn't introduced herself as Liechtenstein to anybody, and she couldn't recall that voice at all. Who was this? Those eyebrows, it must be some relation of England's, though Liechtenstein thought she knew all of them.

She didn't need to know his name in order to answer his question, though. "No, I'm afraid I haven't seen him since I arrived."

Porom followed Mr. Stein, looking the picture of a wide-eyed, curious little girl down to her saddle shoes. She had no idea what was going to become of this trip--the thought that it might even be a trap and that they'd be brainwashed had crossed her mind, but she'd rather take the risk. Maybe they could find something out from what the Mayor told them that would give a clue on how they controlled this place.

Ai walked slowly along with the rest of the group. Looking around at the surroundings impassivly.

She wasn't really sure why she was here. Perhaps in the hope that she might get some more information about their captivity. After all, she was very good at overhearing things.

She continued walking quietly.

Gabriel brought up the rear of the little group, trying to look more like an observant parent than someone who was watching shadows for monsters. Old habits. Not that he'd be able to do much if something bad happened, but what he lacked in physical skill he made up for in determination.

"Gabriel?" Persephone called politely, moving away from her friends to walk beside the older man. She grinned over at him, clearly pleased by his presence, "I am glad that you could make it."

At first, he had no idea who she was. He'd never seen her, after all. But then he recognized the voice and smiled, gave a little wave.

"Hullo." In person he's quite a bit more shy. "Um. I was going to stay home to see if I could meet my other two housemates, but ah... I thought this was more important."

"You still have not met them all? Who else is it that you live with?" It didn't matter if he was shy, Persephone could fill any silence with yammering of her own. With a nod, she continues, "And yes, I do think this is a bit more important. Though I wish I did not have to be lumped in with a bunch of school children."

Aoi, again in his wig and a dress, walked with the group. He was completely ignoring Stein and looked around at the City Hall. The building was nothing compared to the high-quality sky scrapers in Japan.

The cross dresser didn't know why he even wanted to come on this stupid field trip anyway. To yell at the Mayor? No, that wouldn't do any good as he's trying to be the sweet little girl that Aoi, the internet celebrity, is.

So he just kept the cheerful smile on his face and proceeded with walking.
