So were the lights strung up around town. And of course the cold temperatures. T3 did not like to test how durable his circuits were in this temperature, but with the town obviously malfunctioning and the drones gone, it would be entirely illogical to make no investigations. He had heard the human Simon's message over the system--knowing that he couldn't exactly communicate, T3 decided to simply go find it.
The utility droid chimed quietly when Simon came into visual range.

But he followed it with a determined-sounding noise. Extremes of temperatures or no, he was determined to make use of this opportunity.

With no drones about, breaking into the store and City Hall should be a cinch. Or so he hoped. The magician had dutifully not told Aoko about this plan. He didn't want her involved, after all. And since they weren't staying in the same house, she would hopefully not notice his brief disappearance.
The thief shivered as he approached Simon, and he lifted a gloved hand to wave at his friend. "Oi!" he called, "Are we doing this tonight?"

"While we're waiting on everyone to get here..." the magician said cheerfully as he bent down and picked up a bunch of snow and fashioned it into a ball. "Duck!"
And before Simon could react, he had thrown the snowball right at his friend's face.

After sitting up, he wiped the snow off his face with his sleeve. "What was that for?!"

"Hey, Simon, I got it back!" he shouted, pleased. "Got it to start and everything!"
Of course, he still hadn't figured out how to stop, so he drove past Simon, circled and came back around while he continued the thought. Finishing up, he decided to test his theory on how to stop one of the bikes-- he drove straight into a tree, and to his pleasure, it stopped like it was supposed to, throwing Kamina off to the side in the process.
He brushed himself off, and then stood to wait for anyone else involved to show, although obviously their entry would not be as cool.

Everything about the day had gotten stressful, from the Christmas Tree that had somehow crashed against a couch in the living room to the suddenly clumsily put up lights, but there was a silver lining. If this went right, then he'd be able to get his clothes, his cigarettes, everything back. He'd have to get in though, first.
Seeing the group that was forming, he held up a hand. He couldn't stand the thought of working with anyone outside of the family, but the extra help couldn't hurt.

"So, what're you planning on doing?" He said, looking completely uninterested.

"Hey guys!" he grinned, clearly eager to help, and do something besides holing himself in the library, or exercising trying to adjust to his new limbs.
