Today is
Ride 2 Work Day. As peviously mentioned, I walked home the last 2 Wednesday's along the route I planned to ride. Today I rode to work for the first time, and went a slightly different way as discussed and suggested by a coworker who rides to work frequently

Yes, you're right, with everything you've said, and in reality, it's just something I need to build in to my routine and make it a habit to ride to work as often as possible. If I rode to work every day, I'd save $15.20 every week on bus fairs. And I'm sure once my bike is a regular mode of transport for me, I'd be willing to ride to other places of evenings and over weekends, like to friends places etc which would also save me bus fairs and potentially taxi fares.
I have to remember that Cycling is actually far more convenient than Public Transport. Eventually, I might even include a gym visit in my bike ride as I go fairly close to my work gym (which I am yet to sign up to)

Tonight I get in after 9 pm
thursday night is picking up the girlie from the airport
friday night is dinner with friends
saturday night is dinner at bilsons (tetsuyas cancelled our booking - the evil bastards).
Sunday the girlie goes home....
So no free night, unless the do a matinee session for the little kids? There would be something serene about a bunch of little 6 year olds all singing 'the internet is for porn'...
