Oh yes, it's very true. I like to think of it as shopping. You do a bit of research, find out the cost, try it on, and if you don't like it you put it back on the rack ;)
It is an intriguing process. I'm also wanting to try speed dating sometime soon, a guy friend of mine goes and I think it would be fun to go along the next time he goes. Though it can be pricey. Oh well, more tales when they've been had to tell!
I'd love to go to a speed dating thing... in another year or two when the Tiny Tyrant is capable of being put to bed by his Daddy I AM going to get to follow you round Sydney for a night, right? ;)
Only if you can keep the fits of hysterics under control... if we openly laugh they get scared and run away before the full hilarity can be appreciated!
It's nice to think that but I don't think it's realistic.
I was telling Celsa about it last night and she pointed out that his lack of recognising social cues and the constant talking may actually be attributed to some kind of learning disability or other mental quirk. I think she's right.
I'm good with kissing frogs for now... and there's plenty to kiss at the moment :)
The only thing that is striking me as being seriously weird here is that you found Date Movie to be amusing...
I was up-and-down a bit, so didn't see all of it (phew!) and it was the most dire, ghastly thing that I have ever wasted 2 hours of my life on. I didn't laugh once. Not even a giggle.
Your date must have been astoundingly awful if this shite was an improvement!!!
Well I did only catch the last half hour of it and was just amused by the awful parodies of movies I knew. But Yes both the movie and the date were Bad.
