I can't freaking believe the stupidity of my university's trustees.

People were offering the school millions of dollars to change our school name from the prissy sounding Golden Eagles back to our older name, the Warriors. We didn't want the Native American mascot back, you understand, just the name, cuz "Way to go, Golden Eagles, Way to go" just ( Read more... )

MU Goldilocks... MU pussies is more like it. :-/ Hell, Gold isn't even a strong metal... you can bend and dent it with minimal effort! Titanium or Uranium would have been cooler, as those are tough metals! :-p

But see, I can respect that, cuz they are pansies who don't want to be thought of as "un-PC", so they can't go back to the Warriors. However, nearly everything short of "the Marquette Candy Asses" is going to be better than "the Gold".

At least we have a shot at a vote.

Personally, I would vote for just the Marquette Eagles. Screw the golden part. Keep the mascot. Least amount of freaking hassle for everyone.
