Sorry I've been scarce for so long, my life has been mildly crazy this summer....my father decided to have a midlife crisis and quit his job, my brother's cancer has reappeared and he just had a small section of his lung removed (but thankfully is recovering well, and the doctors feel confident they got everything, and no chemo is needed, thank God ( Read more... )

I am very sorry to hear about all of the other crap though... but yes, count your blessings and this is a wonderful one. Congrats... :-)

Yay, baby!

We both had sucktastic summers, so I'm right there with you. Except way further back in the babymaking department (one of the sucky things was finding out how much the IVF we need will cost - ouch!)

This is wonderful news. You'll be a great mom, I have no doubt.

The word "Head" is, I assume, superimposed on the photo, and not actually written on your insides, right?

Hmmm....I don't know. I'll have to ask at the next scan.

The best part about it is, you'd be amazed at the amount of people who look at it and say "okay, so, what am I looking at here...like, where is the head?" It's fun to say. "The part that says 'HEAD'."
