This is brilliant! I love it and am now inspired to watch SGA, if only for John Sheppard.

Also, “Mmm, pineapple.” made me think of Psych.

SGA is a fun little show. Extremely cracky, so it's good for just some light fun. The characters are enjoyable, for sure. :)

I've never seen Psych! :D But that makes me want to check it out.

Thank you!

You've never seen Psych?!?! *cannot comprehend*

It's an amazing show on USA; it's about a guy who pretends to be psychic in order to help solve crimes. It's witty, hilarious, a bit cracked out; plus there is a pineapple in every episode. It also has the added bonus of episodes online for those who don't have cable.

Here's the link (the episode work just as well as stand alones):

Hee, yeah, I don't have cable, never have. I do plan to check it out, though. :)

Thank you so much for writing this! I love the direction you took with it since it was completely unexpected. I too join the skeptical crowd though. Maybe it will not be a verse in its own right but you do realize some people, myself included, may want more?
Again, your writing is superb!

There may be a sequel someday. We'll see how the muse moves me. ;)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Also, I have to thank you for the very intriguing prompt! :D My brain took it in an odd direction, for sure, but it was a lot of fun to write.
