I'm in Chicago, so I feel your pain over the commute. Yesterday, the drive home was taking folks up to 4 hrs due to the snow :-(

it is! Of course, 5-8" of snow tonight, and more on Saturday. I'd like to throw this season back and try again, plz.

Hee! I saw. Mostly I like snow--I have made squee posts about it too. I like winter and snuggling up under blankets and hot chocolate and frosty noses. But an hour and a half, man. AN HOUR AND A HALF. Toward the end I had to pee, too. Very uncomfortable.

We have blue sky now. It appears wave two of Snowcopalypse 2008 has been blown out of proportion. Shocker. By now, we were supposed to have 3/4 an inch accumulated. *gasp*

It was probably the same storm that dumped on us yesterday, just run out of steam by the time it got all the way to your neck of the woods.

Also HAHA Snowcopalypse. :D

I'm trying not to flaunt the warm, nice day we had. If it's of any consolation, the traffic was very bad regardless.
New pet, yay!

Heh, not your fault the weather is beautiful for you. :D It was better today, though still cold. City cleared the roads so driving was okay. It was just awful last night.

It's just something that happens sometimes. I've had commutes like that, sometimes because of floods, sometimes for snow. People don't know how to drive in the stuff - don't know why since we get it at least a couple of times a year.

Mice, cute for you, icky for me.

Yeah, it was like this last year around Christmas too, with the holiday shopping. I was already planning to find alternate routes next week.

Some people just don't know how to handle stuff.

:D

The mice are lovely. Ivy already seems to enjoy being held. She was grooming and bruxing while sitting on my hand. Holly's a little more stand-offish, though.
