Pants are an illusion. And so is death.

Several items:

1. Moonshayde made this icon to my specifications, and I love it love it love it. Cuz, see, I've seen lots and lots and lots of icons from Jensen's Eye of the Tiger epicness, but none of them said what I want. Which is this, because I'm weird like that. This will probably be the icon I use from now on whenever I blather about Guitar Hero. And ( Read more... )

Weirdly, my internet appeared to fix itself, for it was back on when I went home from where I had gone. I should still call Verizon, though, because my internet randomly turning off for big ol' chunks of time is not cool.

Turned the fridge back on this morning before I went to work...guess we'll see if it's better now.

1) That is a nice icon indeed. I wish I had the icon-fu, but I never have the patience to learn tricks.

2) 1. Yikes for the fridge/freezer. I hate when that happens. In the great power outage of '06, I lost a whole cheesecake I'd stored in the freezer. It was a sad day when I had to throw it out.
2. I hope you get the Interwebs up and running again soon!
3. My muse always abandons me for 3-10 days after I finish writing something, which is why I'm always in awe of people who can just crank things out endlessly.

3) No comment, because I'm not familiar.

4) I love Sam and Dean more.

1. Your icon is also shiny. :D

2. A whole cheesecake? D: That is a tragic loss. My internet appears to have fixed itself, but I am dubious. And my SPN muse is still going strong--I continue to get new ideas on a daily basis. This was the muse I needed for o-fic. :( Completely AWOL.

3. It's really an amazing show, though supposedly for kids. Plot, character development, milieu and artwork all far transcend its Nickelodeon roots. Truly, Iroh's relationship with his nephew, Zuko, who has been so badly wounded by his family, is probably one of the most touching and realistic things in a series full of touching and realistic things. ::clings to Iroh::

4. ::throws down the gauntlet:: PISTOLS AT DAWN!

Okay, but it has to be my dawn, unless you're on the west coast as well. Because your dawn is way too early for me.

Sorry to hear about your refridgerator. And your missing muse.

My kid said the last Avatar episode was the best she'd ever seen. I"m not into anime but all of her friends were raving about it.

The ice blockage really was amazingly big. And there has been lots and lots of water dripping. So I'm hopeful. I turned it on this morning, and we'll how it is when I get home tonight.

I like a lot of anime in general, but Avatar far transcends the usual. It's a brilliant show.
