I nearly died at this line.
Loved this whole thing, from the Dean's initial annoyance to general acceptance (which is rather how I view how he originally accepted Sam into his life) to Sam's growing realization as to how much Dean did for him growing up. I bet Mrs. Bildung will be in for one heck of a shock when she sees their journal.

You wanna know a secret?
... I TOTALLY WROTE THIS PROMPT FOR YOU!
No lie. I was like, okay, I really want her to write something, so there needs to be kids somewhere. *glee* It worked! I am devious.
This was everything I could have hoped for and MORE! I love Sam's journal entries, especially the ones he didn't write ;) Dean would get all crazy-protective, I bet. I feel all
warm and fuzzy and like I wanna have a thousand real babies.
THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Would it shock you to know that I actually don't like babies that much? (Except for my niece, of course, who is AMAZING and PERFECT.) If I'm ever in a position to have kids, I'd rather adopt somewhat older ones. Like, 8-14, that age-range. Yes, I'm fully cognizant that kids that old who have been in the system will probably have problems. That's part of why I want them. But anyway.
I am so, so glad you liked it. :D Apparently SamnDean taking care of a child (even a fake one) is irresistible to me. And I never, ever would have come up with that idea on my own, so I'm very grateful to you for giving it to me. And it only took me an hour and a half to write it! That's pretty amazing, that is.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! ♥

BTW, your story was very, very cute. From someone who got to practice on her little brother and therefore knows that plastic infant simulators are bullshit.

And yeah, I have seven younger siblings, so I know what having a baby is really like. I think I changed my first diaper when I was six or seven, something like that. (My mom was busy and I couldn't stand the smell for one more second.)
Thanks for reading! :D
