I would have twittered this, but it got too long.

Screw you, Jim Norton. "Obese women who blog about ghost stories" are the shit, and I'm proud to be one of them.

But please, ladies, let's not attack this idiot based on what he looks like. It truly does not signify. Even if he was skinny, handsome, successful, rich, hilarious, and genius-level smart (of which it appears that he is none), he ( Read more... )

sorry again, clumpsy fingers (hit the enter without wanting to) BUT I don't know who this idiot is. AND I have absolutely no idea what is the ratio body weight to intelligence but in his case is definitely negative. And I am not fat but if I were it would still be my frigging business and still would not affect my capacity for reasoning!!!

Eh, I also have never heard of him, but a quick read-through of his Twitter proves that he's not funny. Just a whiny jerk. And I actually have some basis for comparison because Kevin Smith, Eddie Izzard and Drew Carey (all of whom are professionally funny people whom I follow) are consistently funny in their messages.

But some people find insults to be funny and I find that people like that need to be beaten with socks full of oranges until they no longer feel the need to speak.

Seriously, I might make fun of people at a convention for being fans of something I'm not a fan of, and in fact I did occasionally at GenCon. (I know, pot calling kettle black.) But what's the point of insulting their weight? What a lovely way to convince the Internet to hate you.

I shall make a point of avoiding him assiduously. Thanks for the warning. (I refuse to even inflate his stats by one click by going to the link!)

Hee! Well, that first link is actually a screenshot of the offensive comment, so no boosting his ratings, but I really appreciate the thought. Thanks for listening.
