Oh, this is so lovely. The ghost's very creepy with its childlike manners and the ending made me shiver.
Love the interactions and the bits of humor (like John grounding Dean and Sam to the couch. Ah! The joy of parenting).

Meanwhile, wow. I loved this. It's so unexpected, and all the more creepy because we think of Bobby's house as being a sanctuary - for all that it's been invaded by ghosts before, but still! And it all seems to kid-like and innocent, and bored!Dean annoying Sam into joining him, and boys where they should't be, and Dad's punishment and just ... yeah.

This is good stuff, and I'm all creeped out cuz it's DARK out, now, thanks! ;-)

Awesome! I wasn't planning on reading this now, but after skimming through it a bit I *had* to go back and start at the beginning. Seriously creepy, with the ghost singing like that.

And thank you for making John sympathetic and not too hard on the boys. I'm seriously sick of all the neglectful, boarder-line abusive portrayals of John in fics.

Was the ghost Bobby's un-named wife we met in DALDOM, his sister or someone else?

Oh, man, I love John. I could never write him as abusive, though I freely admit he can be neglectful at times and kind of a jackass. But he loves his boys.

Yeah, I meant the ghost to be Bobby's wife.
