Rain Falling Down AU Master (Plus Coming Down on a Sunny Day)
This AU is being written in a series of connected one-shots, so each story should be readable alone. Characters will eventually include...well, everyone, really. Genre is mostly angst and hurt/comfort so far. Oh, and it's gen. I don't really write anything else.
Basic premise: Castiel goes back in time to stop the Apocalypse. Things go wrong. Things go VERY wrong.

A Cleansing for My Humanity (Words: 4800) It was a coping mechanism, Bobby figured. The personality shifts were a little disturbing, though.
While Children Softly Fold Away Their Years (Words: 5268) "I'm a hunter," Bobby said. "Just another hunter, Winchester. I don't want anything from you. But, well, I've got this kid here. He says he needs to talk to you. He says he knows what killed your wife."
And Make Their Quiet Pleas for Sanity (Words: 5181) Jimmy doesn't want to go to school, and Bobby doesn't know what to do.
I Feel the Failure of Protection in My Bones (Words: 5151) "Well, something has happened, yes," the principal said slowly. "Not to your son, per se. More accurately, he did something to someone else."
And Singing Through the Seasons Young and Old (Words: 3500) It's gonna be a good Christmas. Dean can tell. He's smart like that. Now all he has to do is convince Jimmy.

The AU of the AU, in which Castiel goes straight for John.
Coming Down on a Sunny Day (Words: ~34,000) In 2009, Castiel watches the Apocalypse end disastrously and makes a decision. In 1984, John Winchester suddenly finds himself with another little boy on his hands, one with dark, messy hair and sad blue eyes who won't leave John and his sons alone. And so Sam and Dean get a weirdo big brother. Because their lives aren't complicated enough. Big Bang 2010.
The Other Side of the Door (Words: ~3800) What happened after Castiel killed the shtriga. Deleted scene from Book 1.
Where Angels Failed (Words: 11,000) Castiel has an ear infection. It's really bad. Dean is eleven and he doesn't know what to do. Stand-alone story between Book 1 and the first interlude.
I'll Pass as Your Comrade (Words: ~3000) "What do you want to do with your life?" It had never occurred to Jimmy that he had a choice. Set between Book 2 and Book 3.
Book 3: The Children of Azazel (Words: ~25,000) John Winchester has four sons, but to an outside observer, he appears to have only three. Their mission is to stop the Apocalypse before it starts. Prologue & Ch. 1, Ch. 2, Ch. 3, Ch. 4
