So can you explain to me the phenomenon of knitting thongs and bras? It's really puzzling to me! *g* That cardigan looks really cute, though!

I finished my first project using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and when I gave it to the recipient, she couldn't stop petting it. It is soooo soft!

LOL no, no I cannot. Some of the slips and nightgowns, etc. are rather lovely, but as for those other undergarments...*mind boggles*

Yay!! She obviously loved it. I keep meaning to e-mail you my flickr account so you can see what I've finished lately (actually, maybe I did already??). Anyway, if you haven't seen it: http://flickr.com/photos/73058545@N00/sets/72157600689064392/ . Actually most of htat is older, but the Mesilla sweater is there (I have more photos I have to upload of stuff I've finished since).

You did email it to me, and the Mesilla sweater is fantastic! It's totally amazing, and the fiber drapes so beautifully on you. What kind of yarn did you use?

I am so detached from the non-Six Feet Under-related world right now, that I didn't even realize his book was out already. :x I'm going to go get it today! Maybe I'll even have time to READ it at some point! Is it great??

Speaking as someone who obsessively tore through Six Feet Under mere months ago....Yay! Finally someone who knows what I mean when I say "Dude, this show is AWESOME" I think If I'd have had every single episode at once, I wouldn't have slept until I was done.

Hee, I got to tune into the England match last night and hear my neighbors glee as they scored and won.

I've been pondering an Interweave Knits subscription as they have a lot of patterns that appeal to me. What do you think?

*giggles*

I say yes! I subscribe to both Interweave and Vogue Knitting and am happy with both. The patterns are a crapshoot. For instance, the Spring issue of Interweave I love nearly everything in it, whereas the fall there were only a couple of things I *might* one day make. Ditto Vogue (though I think it was the winter issue that I loved so many). They have good articles and such though too.

Ah well. I'll file this away under 'things to do when I get home.' Thanks!

You know you've been watching too much Twin Peaks when the name Bryson makes you giggle because the first thought that comes to mind is David Duchovny in a skirt, and you can't help but wonder if you'd have a different view on the X-Files if you'd seen that particular sight before seeing the series...

Sorry. Random, silly detail from my boring life.

The cardigan looks nice.
