As I was driving home today, grumbling to myself about the unbearably hot weather, I stopped for an old man on a bike. He had a big white beard and was wearing one of those bright Rastafarian tams, shorts, and a tie-dyed shirt. Little did he know, as he pedaled cautiously past me, how much he made me smile.

I can't be sad; it's impossible. 'Cause whenever I decide I'm too upset to go to work and all I want to do is curl up in bed and cry into my pillows, I get things like surprise bouquets of flowers to cheer me up. Full of all the cheerful kinds of flowers! I have a good boo.
