Is it true that the police here can't put many of the criminals in jail because the criminals are too strong for them?

Some are, some aren't. It is hard to judge when everyone's scale of strength is different.

Then why don't the strongest ones help the police?

I would venture the problem is more likely that there is no law for someone to violate to warrant being placed in prison in the first place.

It's a normal jail. You can't expect much from it.

If it was stronger then by definition it can't be just as easy to destroy.

You must not have been here very long. People can be pulled or dropped into the City without a moment's notice, and there's often curses that twist people's personalities and morals...sometimes your allies become your enemies, and it's hardly their fault!

It's probably true that not all the members of the police force are as strong as the criminals they chase, but the City doesn't exactly make things easy for them!

But if a person isn't cursed and willingly murders someone else, and is really strong... then they probably will get away with it?

I think that's one of the problems... Another is that the laws here aren't very...logical. And things are complicated.

There's a police force, but there's no set order to follow. I think everyone just follows that they believe to be ethical, which isn't very organized, and then hope that the deities will back them up when the criminal has been brought to court. If the criminal can be caught and brought to court.

Another thing to consider is curses, and when people should and shouldn't be held accountable for their own actions.

That seems the worst way possible to try and keep any sort of order in the City.

I thought so too, but I could be wrong. I don't know for sure how they go about apprehending criminals. I've never asked.

I see. I just wasn't sure if it was something that made sense only to... people from certain worlds.
