After the Christmas presents were all unwrapped, Guitar Hero was finally turned on. And our Christmas party quickly became a dance party. I promise I'll post actual pictures here soon. In the meantime, checkout the dance videos...

It snowed more last night than it did a few nights ago. The good thing about the snow this time is it's a little warmer - hovering around 30 degrees all day. That means great packing snow which means great snowballs and snowmen!

I heard on the radio today that pirate is one of the top 10 child costumes this year. I'm sure it had absolutely nothing to do with Pirates of the Caribbean and everything to do with the upcoming Pirates Who Don't Do Anything movie (at least that's what the promoters would like to think). Tonight: concert #1 at Indiana Wesleyan with friends from church.

Tomorrow: Aiden has basketball camp, then we're taking the kids to Mamaw and Papaw's house.  Going to the Louvre exhibit at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, then concert #2 at Anderson University.

Sunday: Preach, lunch, pick up kids from Mamaw and Papaw's.

Every morning, without fail, the kids ask me if we can walk to school.  The problem has been that they ask at 7:55 a.m.  School starts at 8:05 a.m. and is between a third and a half mile away from our house. With all of that considered, I would regularly say "Not today.  If you can get ready by 7:30, then we'll try to walk to school."

Yesterday was 'Backwards Day' at the kids' school. If they gave $.50 to the United Way, they got to wear their clothes backwards the rest of the day. They have different events the rest of the week to encourage kids to continue to contribute the rest of the week. It's almost like Spirit Week before Homecoming. A few weeks ago, a member of our church and his son came over to fix our phone lines. The son showed up with a surprise - a dune buggy that he and his son built themselves. After the work on the house was completed, it was play time...
