Finally rid of the hot weather, now working on writing projects

It's still a little humid (possibly as a result of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Earl blowing through), but that's likely from all the rain we had last night. But there's a nice breeze and there's something oddly autumnal about it. Maybe I'm just hoping it is, since this has been a very long, uncomfortable summer for me, since we've had so much warm

I'm really looking forward to winter- summer has been horribly muggy and sweaty. OTOH, I got to wear sneakers today for the first time in months without my feet boiling and wanting to leap off my body!

Mmm. I'm loving the cooler temperatures myself - it dropped from 90's to 80's or so. Makes me feel the emotional equivalent of a house pet going crazy and racing around in circles for no apparent reason.

I love the Winnie the Pooh books so, so much. I have my grandmother's copies her own mother got her during WWII (apparently they were very hard to find b/c of said war). They are the loveliest stories that ever were, srsly ^^
