Short Weekend is Short

The weekends go by way too quickly; even more so it seems, when sick. Danny was sick pretty much all of last week and of course, he doesn’t clean every single surface he cleans when he’s sick (who does?), so while I did avoid him, I must have picked up something …somewhere … at some point. I was feeling half sick Saturday, but then Sunday I barely ( Read more... )

I miss the SIMS! I go through spurts of wanting to play it. hehe. I've never played Guild Wars or Medal of Honor. My husband is into COD. I'm not too into shooters just because the controls make me crazy and I like slower moving games where I can think before doing things, lol.

I bet you could do 75 books!

I go through spurts of wanting to play SIMS too! They must have done an update at some point to stop the crashes, because every time I’d load the game I would only get 20 minutes in and it would crash (no custom content or anything installed). So for a long time I didn’t play it. Then, I got a silly version of it on my iPad and it made me want to play the real thing and luckily, so far, it hasn’t crashed… Hope it keeps up ha!

I bet you could do 75 books! Not if I continue being as obsessed with SIMS3 as I have been … ha! I haven’t read a page in four days! Which, considering how reading like crazy before … I am blaming it all on SIMS3 :D

LOL! So did I. Played another crapload last night (: I can tell I am addicted again, but I know I’ll crash from it soon enough. I can’t play it too long before I go a little bonkers. MIGHT keep my interest more if I take screen shots like a real story, but I don’t have patience for that either … so we’ll see :D

If I didnt have a kid I would probably try the Sims 3. I had the original SIMS with no expansions. My ex boyfriend had all the expansions. I wonder if he still does.

I was a big fan of pogo.com but my yearly subscription ended and I dont have $40 to renew for another year. Which is a good thing since all my free time is after ten pm when I put my daughter to bed.

Love how you have to kill your teenagers best friend in the Sims. I would kill people by putting them into a room with no doors. :)

I’ve had all three versions of SIMS from the original to now. I have to admit, they really have come a super long way … and the games are still addicting as ever. (:

I played on pogo for a long time but I refused to pay for it, but yeah… paid features were a lot better!

Yeah, that thing was a tad bit freaky … It followed her around like her shadow and it had these weird noises … so odd. I had to do away with it.

Glad to hear you're feeling better :)

I looooved Sims 2, but never got into Sims 3. I guess maybe it'd be different with the latest expansions, but I figure I'm to lazy to deal with it when the original and first few expansions did nothing for me. lol

I'm liking the weather too! It's getting cooler here as well, which is really awesome when you feel like you're the size of a whale, haha.

Thanks!

Yeah there are only certain expansions I really like: pets, nightlife and seasons. I like nightlife because of the vampires/nightclubs/etc. Though generations has added a few fun and quirky things to the game too, but don’t know if it’s worth the $30 lol. But yeah the base game is quite boring … lol. I really cannot wait for seasons, :D

*hugs* I cannot imagine the heat while pregnant.
