Almost Over

I'm sitting out on our porch, in almost depression mode because vacation is almost over. Tomorrow is my last day ): Granted I only go back for two days and then have a three day weekend ...but still *pout*.  I really need to win the lotto (: My help if I actually played it though ... huh? :D

Today was my first day back to work, and I spent most of it zoned out. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Yeah the other day I was looking up books and noticed one of my favorite authors released a new book. I was going to go buy the Kindle version when I noticed that it was $2.00 more! I was so peeved I didn't get either version LOL

I am actually okay to drive ... it is just when I go places I really need to see in advance by a good deal that I can't see too great. I really need to get them checked LOL

I would only pay for books that I really wanted to read, like from a series or an author I liked, I think books have become way over-priced in recent times.

when buying books I don't pay attention to pages really. I think the shortest two books I've bought was Child of God By Cormac McCarthy and Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway. Both worth the short reads. I usually stick to what the book is about before the pages.
