"The real object of education is to have a man
in the condition of continually asking questions."
- Mandell Creighton (1843-1901)

The men have busted out the motorcycles and the women the tang tops. A sign of the very nice weather and better to come. Today was so beautiful.

Cats are good pets. I had hermit crabs once, and they lived a good 2 years before dying. Yeah, we're supposed to get T-storms down here in ol' PA too, however, the PA version of a thunderstorm is pathetic compared to the classic midwestern variety with F1 to F5 greatness. I don't miss those storms.

I have two cats. I'm usually the first to attest to their wonderfulness. BUT, don't get a cat unless you have the time and resources to take care of him. I'm firmly of the belief that cats should stay indoors, because they'll be exposed to fewer dangers that way, and they'll live longer. So that requires a litterbox, which are a pain to clean. Also, they need shots once a year, and the exam usually costs about $100.

But the investment is usually worth it, at least if they're half as wonderful as my boys. ^ v ^

As for movie recommendations . . . I hear Corpse Bride is pretty good, especially if you liked Nightmare Before Christmas. If you're in the mood for a documentary, March of the Penguins is pretty good. I liked the remake of The Longest Yard, but you probably won't like it if you're not an Adam Sandler fan. The latest Harry Potter is out on DVD now. If it's a light, fluffy comedy you want, Wedding Crashers wasn't horrible, and I hear 40-Year-Old Virgin is decent, too.

As for romantic comedies, there's Must Love Dogs ( ... )

LOL I saw that preview too! I agree that the first one was funny and the rest sucked.
I actually found the 2nd one pretty funny, parts of it a least. but that third one so stupid!

as for movie ideas:
Just like heaven is really good but only if guys like those kinda of movies! Dukes of Hazzard is pretty good. Hitch is hilarious and I recommend seeing it if you haven't. Flight Plan rocked, definitely a good guy and girl film. Prime is good. Red Eye is another great one, if you like edge of your seat suspense.

Hope those are helpful!
