"The real object of education is to have a man
in the condition of continually asking questions."
- Mandell Creighton (1843-1901)

The men have busted out the motorcycles and the women the tang tops. A sign of the very nice weather and better to come. Today was so beautiful.

I have two cats. I'm usually the first to attest to their wonderfulness. BUT, don't get a cat unless you have the time and resources to take care of him. I'm firmly of the belief that cats should stay indoors, because they'll be exposed to fewer dangers that way, and they'll live longer. So that requires a litterbox, which are a pain to clean. Also, they need shots once a year, and the exam usually costs about $100.

But the investment is usually worth it, at least if they're half as wonderful as my boys. ^ v ^

As for movie recommendations . . . I hear Corpse Bride is pretty good, especially if you liked Nightmare Before Christmas. If you're in the mood for a documentary, March of the Penguins is pretty good. I liked the remake of The Longest Yard, but you probably won't like it if you're not an Adam Sandler fan. The latest Harry Potter is out on DVD now. If it's a light, fluffy comedy you want, Wedding Crashers wasn't horrible, and I hear 40-Year-Old Virgin is decent, too.

As for romantic comedies, there's Must Love Dogs (with John Cusack) and Just Like Heaven.

Any of those help?
