This is getting ridiculous. The first half of this week's snowpocalypse missed us north (and went to see batwrangler); today's branch is going to NYC again.

Here in Connecticut, this is the view from my window after three days of rain:

Don't do that, Bear. It would be like giving a banana slug a ham sandwich - they would have no idea what to make of it, having never seen such a thing before.

This is the governance we get when lawmakers are more beholden and attentive to corporate entities (read: drug and insurance companies) than the citizens they're ostensibly working for; their efforts, even the ones who talk a good game, aren't aligned with the needs of the many.

The fact that many of the meny actively proseltyze and vote against their own self-interest isn't helping, but that's good old-fashioned dumb for ya.

That might be a dusting in Connecticut, but in Atlanta that would be a Full French Toast Alert.

Up here in Hamilton Ontario, we have pretty much been denied Snowpocalypse all winter, except for one memorable day at the beginning of this week, which still did not yield a snow day. And I could really use a snow day to finish adjusting to this medication change my doctor has me going through.

And if I can't have Snowpocalypse as a wish, I wish most fervently that my American friends could have a more universal healthcare system, despite the ridiculous level of politicking going on. It's insane hat you folks are forced to endure for the sake of some extremely greedy industrialists.

'...because it makes me want to go to your house and give you a piece of my mind.' For some reason, I'm hearing Jimi Hendrix, 'Hey Joe' '... where you going with that gun in your hand?' Lee in Limbo says the truth of it.

Would you like some of our snowmegeddon? 'Cause we have plenty, really.

And if you want to give them a piece of your mind, I'll chip in for the bus fare...
