A bit of SF help?

I need references I can use to show regular viewing figures for Blake's 7 and Dr Who 'round about 1978 - this is to prove that British science fiction (on telly, at least) was in a fairly healthy state at the end of the 70s. I know I've seen reference to B7 viewing figures loads of times, I just can't think of any right now! Henry Jenkins no help ( Read more... )

Liberation: the unofficial and unauthorised guide to Blake's 7 (Alan Stevens and Fiona Moore) lists viewing figures for each ep. Presumably other programme guides would carry the stats too. Hermit has them, but doesn't give a source.

Doctor Who: The Television Guide has viewing figures for all Doctor Who stories. There're extracts on the Beeb site, but I don't think they have that bit. Um, my own copy isn't with me am afraid.
