Reunited with my CD's this weekend, I flipped through, trying to decide which one got first honors. The eventual winner was the mix CD from Eclectic Enigma, prominently featuring The Be Good Tanyas. She referred to it as "excellent cooking music," which of course only I would understand, and she's right. It's a CD to cook to (and awesome). End of

Every Thursday Night from now on I must sing All My Life by the Foo Fighters, screaming the lines "Done, done, and I'm onto the next one, done I'm done and I'm onto the next one!" This is also effective for ending a relationship, although I prefer Bye Bye Baby by Okgo.

For cooking I go for the Be Good Tanyas, anything Dar, Mindy Smith, and Frou Frou.

Sex should be accompanied by Nina Simone's In the Dark.

Working out feels better when old school Michael Jackson, George Michael, and Prince are blasting.
