I'm looking over my instructor's posted solution to a recent homework problem (for a business class) and I'm having trouble with one step.

Q2 ( A - B - C) = 2DK

Like Denominators (LD) to add fractions: combine B & C (since they have LD

Factor the top of B-C...cancel quantites that are the same.

NOW you need like bottoms to combine what you have left with term A..Mutiple A by the bottom of B-C and then you can do A - B-C.

Ah I see, thank you! I had tried that but when I combined B and C I screwed up the signs, so that threw me off. Thanks again!
