The only story that I can think of to cheer you up is one that I think you know, since I posted it in my journal ages ago. It's the חרדים/חרקים story. Do you remember that?

עזבי, את לא באמת חייבת לעודד אותי, אני סתם מדוכאת טיפה בגלל שילוב של דברים. חלק זה מה שכתבתי כאן, וחלק אחר זה משהו שכתבתי ומחקתי כי לא נעים לי, אבל מדכא אותי קצת שעומדים להסתיים לי האייקונים כאן. הייתי קונה עוד, אבל יש לי כרטיס סטודנט ישראלי שלא מוכר מחוץ לישראל.

I have one, I have one....Ok, people may call you a facist for finding this funny, but then I'm a facist too...You may have heard this, it was told to me by a teacher in like 1999. This isn't word for word, but it's similar.

Anyway, an old Jewish man was in the middle of the street in New York. Right in the middle of traffic, jumping up and down and dancing happily, chanting "86, 86, 86". A young non Jewish man approached him and asked why he's so happy and what he's doing.

The old man said "My people died in the Holocaust, and now I'm celebrating life and the punishment of the people who killed my relatives."

The young man said that he likes that, and asked if he could join.

"Of course!"

The young man joined in, and they danced and chanted "86, 86, 86"

A car came and hit and killed the young man.

"87, 87, 87"

Okay, terrible and stupid. Here's another one that's pretty bad. Which only works in Hebrew.

My nephew Osher is such a cutie, for my b-day he decided he's going to dress up like a clown (make up and all) and tell jokes. He collected 85 (!) of them, the sweetheart, but y'know, it's the kind of jokes we all heard when we were in the 5th grade... like this one -

מה ההבדל בין זבוב לתלמיד?
זבוב עף ומפריע, תלמיד מפריע ועף. :P

I'm want to go to the Light Festival since I missed it last year. I hope you feel better soon so you'll be able to go too, and spend the weekend with your mum!

Are you going today? I won't be able to, my cat had another episode/seizure this morning... I'm still waiting for the Valium affects to ware off. I hope to be able to go later this week, don't want to miss it again.
