wireless... meh
Wired the forty+ feet to the kids' computer. Got sick of trying (unsuccessfully) to get the wireless card to talk to the router. There were a raft of issues, from the motherboard and OS all the way to both card and router. Best 40 bucks I've spent all year. -

So, I made a facebook account. So far, my wife is the only person I've added (well done, trix1e, you spotted me within minutes of the account being made). Social Media question
I've avoided Facebook in the past, largely because I think Mark Zuckerberg is an arrogant asshole, who has no qualms about getting rich while my personal information is offered up like candy to people with no business seeing it. Technology Deferred
UPS tracking showed the new phone on the way with a scheduled delivery by end of day yesterday. Coming from Kentucky, it made it to Montgomery and delivery was rescheduled for Monday. I just got an Android phone, and this is my first 4G phone. Does anyone have any recommendations for apps that might be handy or useful? Up until now, I took the approach that a phone was for, well, *phone calls* - and then I started using my phone for pictures and video (which sucks on my old phone), and limited texting.
