Thank you for sharing this. :) I really do like your observation that you have to master yourself before you take a slave. Something that has to be done first. Plus, it was a very Zen saying. :)

Alas, the lifestyle does seem to add more complications since your prior Master had another lover that wasn't part of the belief system. It seems to me that polyamory can really complicate things if you're not careful.

I have tears running down my face! I think this is the best writing I've seen from you. I could feel the words coming from your heart. For those with the soul of a slave, how mesmeric it is to see another slave uncover further their path of service. I suppose this has special sentiment to me because I've been here with you for part of your journey.. I've seen you grow so much in just the few years we have been friends, and look forward to the next chapter.

Well said. Now if only some of the "Gorean Masters" had as good a grasp on the concepts involved in the lifestyle instead of thinking that to be Gorean opens the door to being allowed to be emotionally and physically abusive.
