My house, Well, as soon as I close. Closing still hasn't been set. But I am already calling this place My house. I think I'm gonna love this place. Lots of room (more than I need). Lots of rooms, for "entertaining". All that and its move in ready. 
Not quite excited but I'm getting there fast.

 So I put an offer on a house. The next day it was accepted. The next day I gave my Realtor a $1000 cashiers check for earnest money. Today I get the loan docs to sign. I thought the looking part was going to kill me. This part may do me in. By the end of all this I will have a wonderful House in a Great neighborhood and wont be paying rent anymore ( Read more... )

 Frolicon is only days away and I am still not all that excited. I'm really not sure why, perhaps i'm feeling burned out. There are at least 2 people coming and even presenting in the "Kink" track where I help that I would rather eat razorblades than have to deal with them. It has started. I have been looking at houses, just looking. I called a mortgage broker they pre-approved me for well over 120k. So now the looking has switched to finding. I want to be out of the Apartment by the end of the year.
Hopefully I can survive this process.

Today is the day we are supposed to celebrate the birth of a very important prophet. Though it seems we have lost sight of such. For many it is a season to spend more than you have to buy presents for people you feel obligated to give.
