Household as "Church"
Over the course of about two weeks, upon thinking about Thee Hollow a lot, it dawned on Us that the Household is beginning to function much like a church. In some ways this makes Us uncomfortable... in others, it feels right. So We started to do some research about just what IS a church? The first thing We thought to look up was legalities

1. it wonders if this means being a legal entity much like a non-profit organization has a legal status (501c, etc.). When it incorporated the NCLC one of the options was for churches.
6. in some churches members have voting rights on certain matters - this does not preclude them from attending services at other churches, just that they wouldn't necessarily become part of the governing body of any other church.
Perhaps some of these items rely on having had a group that already gathers then seeking out recognized status - though You probably already considered that. :)
