• Do not buy Razorlight's album Slipway Fires. It sucks. If you love Wire to Wire (like I do) then buy the Single and be done with it. /glad she got her money back

• Life isn't my thing. It's... too much of a drama lama. It's the exact opposite of the calmness that is The Mentalist, and really not something I need before going to bed. Or need at all ( Read more... )

The fail started with the trailer, which consisted of every, lesbian. scene. in. the. first. season. And no mention of the gay kissing, which almost makes me think they'll cut it out. The voices are horrible, and I know the first season looked cheap in the original but now it looks and sounds like a telenovela. DX

I like both Life and The Mentalist (though I love Lie To Me even more at the moment, it's like spoiling my youngest child!)

Also, I've noticed this dropping dubbing quality in German dubs for a few years now. I think it has to do with several things. One is the increasing frequency and speed with which series and movies are brought over to be translated and dubbed-this leads to a painful shortage of competent translators and good voice actors. I mean, if you (general you) compare 80s and 90s series that were brought over, most of them had excellent translations with very few errors, and equally excellent voice acting ( ... )
