Ugh. If I said anything nice to anybody in the past few days? I didn't mean it.

Despite this community being incredibly lame and not forthcoming with proper gifts except for that weird fish I had a pretty good birthday.

Mum and dad gave me this really sleek eagle owl for letter-sending when I get to Hogwarts.

And I've spent the last couple of days flying on the greatest broom ever.

I'd better get onto the Quidditch team.

Draco's wandering around, looking lost - but trying to look haughty. He has no idea what is going on.

I know I shouldn't have touched it. Father did say it was horribly cursed and now I'm covered in these horrid welts and it's said that there's no cure! And that the curse lasts for 24 hours and... then you just.. just... end. That's what I heard and it had better not be true. What am I going to do?
