Hey, I like this idea, and in particular your take on it. It'll be nice to see it played realistically without mind control or anything, and to see the consequences after.
If I may offer a suggestion to potential AAs, subject to OP's approval: how about they're captured by Humans? Humans are the most evil race that I know.

OP here. I'm not totally opposed to humans, but I do have a slight preference for alien captors just to up the creepy factor. If noncon is added into the mix, I have a major preference for one of the alien species mentioned in the original prompt. I also like the idea of the alien race not being 100% aware of the nuances of humans, such as privacy needs or palatable food or how they react under stress, etc.
And tbh I might find human captors slightly triggering, although not enough to keep me from reading! Give me enough of the women bonding together and caring for each other and outsmarting their captors and I can handle any trigger. But still... I'd kinda prefer aliens, unless that prevents an A!A from writing it.

Hey, I found this. It's not Mass Effect but it is lady Space Marines captured and milked by an insectoid race. The first couple of parts read pretty well, perhaps it'll meet your needs while you wait for this to get filled?

Oh, that makes sense. It's been a long time since I thought about that particular beefcake in a warm and fuzzy way but now my brain is catching up. Wonder who Diane/Denise Redding (if not KC) and Captain Laura Clark are supposed to be? Maybe Denise Richards, newly qualified pilot from Starship Troopers? I wouldn't mind seeing her in that kind of predicament.
Well, I read through the rest of it and it is indeed super-hot and very nicely written. I don't think I could do better in the ME-verse, honestly, it's a pretty high bar!

It's a combination of things. Lactation almost always reduces the severity of periods, and since I've had to go off birth control indefinitely, it's a last ditch effort to manage my killer periods (and endometriosis) before surgery

Would I be right in thinking that fantasising about being forced to go through all the shit you're doing by choice (and I appreciate that it's a hard choice!) would make it easier?
If so does that mean you're more on the sub end of the spectrum? Or is D/s not an appropriate way to think about this kink?

I'm a masochist and I can enjoy being dominated, but I'm not one to willingly submit to anyone without first undergoing a lot of pain and "coercion." Although someday I do hope to have the opportunity to be tied up and milked while being fed and hydrated with all manner of tubes, I don't consider myself submissive at all. I just like to be tied up and tortured in unusual ways, I guess.
Ironically, I'm actually a pro Domme outside of the bedroom (or I guess technically in other people's bedrooms?) but it doesn't do anything for me sexually. That's just where the money/demand is best.
Anyway, I suppose the appeal isn't so much about *me* being captured and forcibly milked. It's more about getting super turned on while also deriving strength from my favorite characters (especially Kelly, Miranda, and Kasumi) enduring things far worse than my cute little pink pump. But yes, a fill for this prompt would definitely make the process easier, either way.

I just googled endomitriosis. Wow, I was already pretty happy about not having periods *before* I knew that they could escape your uterus and attack adjacent organs. Yikes!
I never would have guessed your angle on all this in a million years. I hate to be the second one to call your story fascinating because it sounds impersonal and dismissive, but I don't really know what else to say. "Good luck in your fight vs the uterus from hell," perhaps?
