Jack
I've seen some bashing of Jack's romance recently and it bothers me a little. It's not so much the fact that people dislike it; but that they do so either not having played it, or only having seen the YouTube videos showing the final romance scene. Given the information and clues that Jack reveals about her past and current mental and emotional state it's understandable that the relationship may look very wrong. However, there is a little more to it than meets the eye.
It's probably somewhere, but I couldn't find the leadup convos in any logical order on YouTube so I decided to replay parts of my male Shepard game and record the Jack romance dialogue the way I played it. If people still want to hate it, that's okay. But I figure that a fully informed dislike is better than an uninformed one. I've left out the pre-loyalty mission dialogue and the "thanks" conversation you have with her immediately after the loyalty mission because it's identical for all Shepards (and because it takes me hours to upload anything on my third-world internet connection).
