Writer's Block: Set the Scene

If you're looking to set the scence to successfully horrify me, none of these examples will work. It is not so much being alone that scares me because I'm pretty self-aware and content with myself. I love that you want to stay home and read and complain about being non-social -- because I love doing just the same. :]

Well, I'm glad it's not just me.
Everyone always tells me that I will regret it and look back wishing I had done more, but I go to these events and don't enjoy myself at all. So what's the point?

People tell me the same and I have yet to regret much. I went to a party once -- miserable. Never again did I do that. It can be sad when books are more entertaining than living breathing humans heh.

It is quite reassuring to think that people wrote them :P
They just weren't created in spontanious actions, and therefore anything they have to say can end up being useful (:

The thing is that my neighbor is homeschooled and he takes me to all my school events instead of other girls. Why? I do not know. But it makes me sad that I get my hopes up for nothing. I'd much rather stay home and not make a fool of myself.
