[ Had a jaguar not leapt clear over Rin's head the teen might not have even noticed the battle that went on between Will, his Pokémon, and the feline. The noises from the animals and his trademark distractibility were a hard pair to fight when in the jungle. The frightened and injured cat did a good job of grabbing his attention however and thus sparked Rin's interest into finding out what exactly had hurt the beast enough for it to run away like it did. e

Rin'll retrace the direction the cat had came from and burst through some bushes into the clearing where Will, and his two Pokémon resided with an accusatory expression. ]

"Did a Jaguar just come through here?!"

[ Forget the fact that he has no idea what the heck is up with that giant green bird and weird pink...thing next to the purple haired man. Rin's defensive nature has kicked into full swing and if Will was attacking the cat for no reason he was going to be in a world of hurt. ]

[That's fabulous purple haired man to you.

The instant Will saw the creature burst through the underbrush, he leapt to his feet, taking another step back. Xatu took a single step forward, and Will gave a soft whoop in joy, completely ignoring the logic of a pokemon talking.]

Don't let this one get away! Xatu, use confuse ray!

[Aaaaand her eyes start glowing again. D-don't make eye contact, Rin.]

[ He'll completely ignore the bird and stomp over to the stranger. Do take in mind he's probably going to try and grab the scruff of whatever ridiculous garment Will's wearing. ]
