I'm not into comic books. So, while I like superheroes in film and TV, I'm not predisposed to think of them as Marvel vs. DC. They're all just superhero stories to me...and I'm probably making a huge faux pas by saying that aloud :P I know there's a huge rivalry. But besides that, I really only know the superheroes who have been adapted for film. I know there's a larger collective that haven't been given the chance to shine.

There's no avoiding ship wars in any fandom, is there. Does the degree of enmity really vary or does it just depend where you hang out? Tumblr and Twitter seems like a war zone, but LJ seems peaceful...

I'm not familiar with Kingdom, but that's a gorgeous edit!

And hee, I'm glad you liked the art. Is the nostalgia a good or bad thing though? :)
