I hear that Scott is kind of a jerk in the graphic novels, so I don't know; I haven't read them either. I loved the effects and the cinematography -- and Scott's roommate Wallace -- but I didn't care that much about Scott and Ramona.

Well he is kind of a jerk in the movie too. Wallace was awesome! I loved his deadpan delivery.

Right, he is kind of a jerk. I meant to say: an even bigger jerk.

I found scott pilgram to be a thoroughly depressing moving. I didn't get why scot would want to date ramona so much especially when she made him such a tool. And I think the movie lost me in terms of liking scott pligrim's character with him 22 dating a 16 year old. It was pathetic and therefore creepy and still I liked the idea of him going back to her a hell of a lot better than continuing to chase after Ramona. The look and the music were awesome, but they couldn't make up for the story and the characters (even though I loved seeing two Arrested Development alums).

I didn't understand what was so amazing about Ramona either. And I agree, I wanted Scott to go back to Knives at the end, even if it is creepy.
